Fantastic environment and perfect meal

I recently had a late lunch at the hotel's restaurant and was truly impressed. The interior reflects the early Victorian lifestyle, which adds a charm to the dining experience. I ordered the rib eye fillet steak, and it was extremely tender and cooked to perfection. I can't recommend dining here enough!

Quirky & Spacious Rooms

During my 4-night work stay, I absolutely loved the quirky, 'old school' design of my room (room 35). It was spacious, clean, and bright, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Basic but Sufficient Gym

Although the gym was fairly rudimentary, it was more than adequate for a quick workout. I appreciated having the facility available to keep up with my fitness routine during my stay. It was a great way to start my day!

The hotel's location is top-notch, nestled among heritage buildings and directly above one of the best steaks in Portland. The rooms were cozy and memorable, with adjoining features adding to the warmth, but the lack of rails made moving around awkward. The service was mixed with intrusions despite the Do Not Disturb sign, but the suggested walks and friendly staff were highlights. Dining had some basic options, with room for improvement in variety and value. The location was excellent, with easy access to various points of interest and a lovely breakfast. On the downside, some noise was expected further down the road.

The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Portland, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The view of the ocean is breathtaking, and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. However, the rooms with frosted windows felt a bit stuffy and claustrophobic at times.

The hotel is positioned right in the heart of Portland, which is fantastic for exploring the area. The rooms could use some serious improvement, as they felt outdated and quite cluttered. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional and made my stay very welcoming.
